Our Costs

The annual cost of treating each child is 36,000 RMB (i.e. based on 2006 tuition fee).

While parents contribute when they are able, these fees are supplemented by donations and by CereCare.

In 2004-2005, private philanthropy provided:

  • New equipment (American Chamber of Commerce)
  • Staff training in Hong Kong (British Chamber of Commerce)
  • Sustaining expenses (individuals and corporations)
  • We continually upgrade the capability of our staff and volunteers.
  • By the end of 2006, everyone who works with the children will be trained and certified in Conductive Education.

Sponsor-A-Child

The parents of many of the children at CereCare are unable to pay the quarterly tuition of 9,000 RMB. For these children, CereCare seeks sponsors who will commit to paying the annual shortfall for one or more children.

The sponsor will receive a quarterly status report about their child(ren) and, if desired, can actually meet them.

This kind of philanthropy gives a personal face to giving and ensures you that your donations are being directly applied where YOU want them to go.
